Tuesdays evening slate of NBA action offers up 11 games. Which players should you build around and which players should you fade? Our experts have the answers.Todays panel includes ESPN Fantasys Kyle Soppe, Joe Kaiser, plus DFS expert Renee Miller.Players to build aroundKyle Soppe - DeMarcus Cousins, Sacramento KingsFor those who have been paying attention, I kind of love me some Cousins and this is a good spot to experience what owning Boogie feels like if you missed out (or drafted with me) this preseason. Hes an explosive player with plenty of warts, but against a bottom-five rebounding team that is the least efficient defense in basketball? Cmonnn. Only that Russell Westbrook guy has a higher usage rate than Cousins this season and given that the Blazers surrender nearly 45 points a night in the paint, is there any reason to think Cousins cant maintain his December averages (27 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 blocks-plus-steals)? Im not thinking so. The Blake Griffin injury has made some dirt cheap options viable in the short-term and with the most efficient offense in NBA history playing the Nets tonight, there are value plays aplenty north of the border. At the very least, you get entertainment value from watching Cousins, but I expect strong bang for your DFS buck as well.Renee Miller -- Garrett Temple, Sacramento KingsTemple is so affordably priced that he allows you to build around him with expensive guards, expensive centers, or both. There are plenty of ways to go at the top of the salary ladder and guys like Temple make it possible. Temple has been the primary beneficiary of Rudy Gays hip injury, and with Omri Casspi doubtful for tonights game with the Trail Blazers, a game that Vegas has as a pick em with a high total, Temple is again in a position to exceed value. With solid three-category production despite horrible shooting Sunday vs. the Mavericks, Temple has the high floor I like to build around. Its worth noting that hes a much more favorable value on FanDuel.Joe Kaiser -- Chris Paul, Los Angeles ClippersPauls usage rate and scoring will rise in the absence of Blake Griffin and tonight he faces a Denver team that is one of the worst in the league at defending point guards. The Nuggets have also given up 107 points or more in their last three games. If there was ever a night to pay up for one of the highest-priced point guards on the board, this is it.Players to fadeKyle Soppe -- DeAndre Jordan, Los Angeles ClippersWith Blake Griffin sidelined for the next 3-to-6 weeks, Id expect Jordan to assume a greater role in this offense ... and Im not sure thats a good thing. Jordans value comes from hanging around the rim, but if the Clips turn to him for more touches within their half-court offense, they could be taking away his strengths. The Nuggets arent exactly a formidable opponent, but they do lead the league in rebounding rate, which, in theory, is how the Clippers typically get the ball to Jordan. If Im rostering Jordan (or any player with this limited skill set) , Im banking on 15 rebounds and hoping that the points follow. Im not sold on a high floor tonight, so I will be spending big on Cousins at the center position instead of going what I expect to be a very common route with Jordan.Renee Miller -- Anthony Davis, Power Forward, New Orleans PelicansDavis is coming off two really bad (for him) road games against good frontcourt defenses. Hes playing through a painful leg injury which probably hasnt helped matters. He took fewer shots in those games than usual, and while his efficiency was okay, the lack of volume combined with the lack of peripheral stat production has been hurting his bottom line in terms of fantasy points. In particular Davis isnt getting as many points (-10) or rebounds (-4) on the road. The lingering injury, the road tilt and the plethora of other ways I can spend more than $11,000 tonight have me fading Davis even in a good matchup with Philadelphia.Joe Kaiser -- Isaiah Thomas, Boston CelticsThomas has reached 40 DFS points only once in the last six games, battling a groin injury along the way, and tonight he faces a Memphis squad ranked as the top defensive unit in basketball (99.3 points allowed per 100 possessions). This is the wrong time to expect Thomas to bust out with a big game. Los Angeles Lakers Gear .C. United of Major League Soccer. United chose the defender in the second round of the 2013 MLS re-entry draft. Lakers Jerseys 2019 . -- Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated, a day after he was suspended for an NFL substance-abuse policy violation. https://www.lakersjerseycheap.com/ . Canada is now down to its 22-player limit, although but players wont be registered until Christmas Day. Changes could still be made as a result of a suspension or injury. Lakers Jerseys 2020 . Hey!" Los Angeles Lakers Shirts .ca! Kerry, Two nights after the Scott-Eriksson incident in Buffalo, the Bruins returned home to play San Jose. In that game, Zdeno Chara put a check on Tommy Wingels that clearly targeted his head. STILLWATER, Okla. -- Jordan Sterns interception in the end zone on the final play, clinching Oklahoma States 43-37 victory over Kansas State, marked the second straight contest the Cowboys secondary came up with a crucial turnover with the game on the line, and highlighted the units strong play overall this season. While the passing defense for No. 17 Oklahoma State (7-2, 5-1 Big 12, No. 18 CFP) ranks fourth in the Big 12 and 80th overall in the nation (averaging 241 yards against), the squads ability to bend but not break, particularly late in close games, has been important to its success.Theyve gotten turnovers at key times, and when their backs were against the wall, theyve played pretty well in those possessions, coach Mike Gundy said of his secondary. We need more consistency throughout the middle part of the game, on normal down and distances -- 65 percent of the game is played under normal circumstances, so obviously, thats the majority. We need to play better in those situations. I think weve given up more big plays over the top than I would have wanted this year. If you eliminate some of those and play in the intermediate part of the field, weve been OK.Sterns interception on Saturday was OSUs 11th of the season, leading the Big 12 and tied for 22nd in the nation. Overall, the Cowboys have recorded 20 turnovers, most in the Big 12 and ninth in the country. They have forced at least one turnover in every game and have come up with 10 in the last four outings.A week earlier, in a 37-20 win over then-No. 10 West Virginia, Oklahoma State recorded two second-half interceptions, including a crucial pick by linebacker Kevin Henry with 4:18 remaining that sealed the triumph. Together with a fumble recovery in the second quarter, the Cowboys totaled three turnovers in that game, with long returns giving the offense the ball inside the 10-yard line each time, and Oklahoma State scored 17 points off of them -- the final margin of victory. We practice it, and the more you practice something, the better youre going to be at it, linebacker Chad Whitener said of the emphasis on generating turnovers.dddddddddddd We work on it, we harp on it, we have goals for what we want to do turnover-wise.The secondary is led by Sterns, a senior safety who shares the team lead with cornerback Ramon Richards with three interceptions on the year and who has five in his career. Sterns also tops the squad with 60 tackles, and his average of 7.5 per game ranks sixth in the Big 12, while his career total of 284 sits fourth among active defensive backs from Power Five conferences. The unit will have its hands full Saturday, when the Cowboys host the high-powered aerial attack of Patrick Mahomes and Texas Tech (4-5, 2-4). Mahomes leads the nation with 3,886 passing yards this season, over 600 more than second-place Luke Falk of Washington State.Theyll be tested this weekend, thats for sure, Oklahoma State defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer said. Obviously, the amount of times theyre going to throw the ball will be the most of anybody weve seen this year. Between coverage when (Mahomes) scrambles and breaks the pocket, to yards after catch, all those factors, and then, if we have a chance to pick it, weve got to go up and get it. We got to steal a few possessions from these guys, some way, somehow.Gundy also cited pressure from the defensive line as a key to covering Mahomes and Texas Techs explosive offense. In playing these guys, you have to be sound in three-man, four-man and five-man pressure, in my opinion, and you have to be balanced in how you attack their offense, Gundy said. We have to be consistent in our pass rush. And we also have to understand that it may seem like your biological clock is going off as a pass-rusher, but it may not be over, with his ability to move around and extend plays. I think thats as important as any part in defending their offense with him at quarterback.---More AP college football: www.collegefootball.ap.org ' ' '
