Then they went out and turned in the best offensive performance yet in picking up their sixth win this year and improving coach Derek Masons best record in his third season.Thats the way we wanted it, Mason said. Before they could wait to see if Florida lost to Florida State, the Vols couldnt help themselves by beating Vanderbilt. That leaves them waiting to see just which bowl they will be playing.Vanderbilt: The Commodores already had a road win at Georgia this season, but this easily counts as Masons biggest win yet to quiet questions about their program as they prepare to go bowling. Eddie Howes men looked comfortable, and got themselves into good positions, but couldnt find a way through the deep-lying West Brom defence. Nacer Chadli and Matt Phillips showed brief flashes of quality, but they were too few to make any difference, leaving Said Berahino a relative bystander. The away side came out firing at the start of the second half as they pushed in search of a goal, but the feeling persisted that Bournemouth were comfortable enough, and looked dangerous on the break with the pace of Ibe, Stanislas and King.Sure enough Tony Pulis men soon ran out of puff, and theree was a buzz of excitement around the crowd as the much-hyped Jack Wilshire made his Bournemouth bow in place of the lively Ibe.dddddddddddd He looked comfortable amongst his new teammates, and was an integral part of the short-passing football they put together to keep their opponents at arms-length.The goal was a cracker, one which will certainly find a place in the Callum Wilson scrapbook, as he got on the end of a low Adam Smith cross to dispatch a back-heel past the despairing dive of Ben Foster and into the far corner.Apart from a bit of handbags near the corner flag, Bournemouth had more than enough quality to see out the rest of the game with relative ease to draw them level on points with their opponents, leaving you with the feeling that all is not well in the West Brom camp.
