Odds are courtesy of the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook.LSU Tigers (-10) vs. Wisconsin Badgers(at Lambeau Field)PickCenterOver/under: 44.5Fallica: It should be a great scene at Lambeau Field on Saturday afternoon. The Badgers have lost five of their last eight vs. the SEC, but only one of those losses was by more than 10 points -- last years 18-point loss to eventual national champion Alabama. Included in that stretch is a four-point loss to LSU in the 2014 season opener, which happened to be Leonard Fournettes first game.I think Wisconsins front seven could have some success in slowing down Fournette, but inexperience in the secondary could mean QB Brandon Harris is set for a big day. It will be close for a while, but I expect the Tigers to ultimately pull away and wear down the Badgers late.ATS pick: LSU 33, Wisconsin 17 (Confidence 6/10)Coughlin: There is a trend when you look at some of these matchups of the great first weekend of college football we have. The trend is that some coaches have left the school they coached at last season and are now facing that school in Week 1. Example No. 1 is new LSU defensive coordinator, Dave Aranda, who called the defensive signals last year for the Badgers. Is this a major advantage for the Tigers? When you look at the talent the LSU defense has, I believe this is a bigger than normal advantage, resulting in the Tigers getting some turnovers.Another factor when you look at this game is the expectations of LSU coming into this season, especially because of the way last season ended. As much as people want to talk about Fournette, the season still hangs on the play of quarterback Harris. He has wide receivers who have potential to be first round picks in Malachi Dupre and Travin Dural, so if he can take care of the football and get those guys some targets and mix in a little -- or a lot -- of Fournette, I dont think the Badgers can stop them. Therefore, I like a lot of points to be scored in this game. Take the over.Pick: LSU 31, Wisconsin 17 (over the total of 44.5 points)Nik Stauskas Jersey . The judges scored it 48-47, 48-47, 49-46 for Jones (19-1). It was the champions closest call. Despite the loss, it was a remarkable show by the confident Swedish challenger, who had the best of the early rounds and then hung on in the fourth and fifth. Mario Hezonja Blazers Jersey . Manuel was offered a position the day he was fired. He accepted earlier this week and the team made the announcement Friday. https://www.blazerslockerroom.com/Nassir-Little-City-Edition-Jersey/ . On June 12, just as the sun sets on the magnificent historical city of Sao Paulo the inventors, innovators and purveyors of “joga bonitowill” open their campaign. The opponent, Croatia and all its football might and will. As opposites do attract we are set for a corker of an opener. Wade Baldwin Jersey . Bjorn, who had a 36-hole total of 8-under 134, made a testing six-foot putt to save par on the 16th and a birdie on the 17th before bogeying the final hole after a misjudged approach shot. American Kevin Streelman was in second place after shooting a 69. Custom Portland Trail Blazers Jerseys . Dukurs winning time was 1 minute, 45.76 seconds, a quarter-second better than Russias Alexander Tretiakov. Lativas Tomass Dukurs was third, 1.41 seconds off the pace. Jon Montgomery of Eckville, Alta.PITTSBURGH -- The Cincinnati Reds picked the wrong time to run into a hot pitcher.Ivan Nova pitched a six-hitter to stay unbeaten with Pittsburgh and Jung Ho Kang hit a two-run double to key a three-run first inning as the Pirates defeated Cincinnati 4-1 on Thursday night, extending the Reds losing streak to five games.Nova (12-6) pitched his second complete game in seven starts since being acquired from the New York Yankees in a trade on Aug. 1. He struck out four, walked none, got 15 of his outs on ground balls and retired the first 12 batters while throwing 94 pitches.Nova improved to 5-0 with a 2.53 ERA in seven starts with the Pirates. He has issued just two walks in 46 2/3 innings. He didnt give us much to get excited about, Reds manager Bryan Price said. He did a really nice job, even during the few times we had runners on base. He gets so many ground balls, hes always a pitch away from getting out of a tough situation with a double play. When we did have some guys on, he was just able to manage the game extremely well.Nova finished off the Reds in 2 hours, 28 minutes.I think my wife and everybody likes it when I get home early, so I try to make it as quick as possible, Nova said with a grin.Kangs double opened the scoring and he came home on a single by Francisco Cervelli as the Pirates took an early 3-0 lead against Dan Straily (11-8).Kang is 7 for 13 with seven RBI in four games since being activated from the disabled list Monday after missing 15 days with a sore left shoulder. That was all the runs Straily gave up during a five-inning stint. He allowed seven hits, struck out six and walked three.I wasnt exactly where I wanted to be -- but they had three hits (in the first) inning that were probably a foot away from a glove. Total, Straily said. So thats just kind of the way it happened. The Reds dropped to 57-82, clinching their third consecutive losing season and 14th in the last 17 years. The Pirates, still on the fringe of the National League wild card race, won their second straight followwing an eight-game losing streak.ddddddddddddThey began a stretch of 15 consecutive games against teams with losing records.Clint Hurdle, in his sixth season, became the sixth manager in Pirates history to win 500 games.Josh Harrison hit two doubles for the Pirates.
